And to be HONEST and HELPFUL, these are known to have the battery go flat-line if you leave them sit for a few years. It is an older model, so there is some micro-soldering involved with changing the battery (about the same as a Shuffle, and not quite as frustrating as an iPod Touch - which I loath.) Of course the issue here is whether or not there is spilled over battery corrosion inside due to condensation. If that turns out to be the case - trash heap. If not, you can fix this for about 4 bucks.
I just bid it up a little because if it happens to work it is well-worth a lot more than it was going for. I need it like I need a hole in my head (I am currently giving iPods away myself) but Listia is supposed to be fun - so why not do my part to keep things interesting!
I don't know, it was given to me i have one almost like it except mine is 2GB this one is 4GB, but i tried to charge it with my cord, but won't even come on...I don't know if you can replace the batteries in these or not.
