The listing, 1800's TINPLATE PHOTO has ended.

Authentic 1800's tinplate photo found in the wall of our old house when remodeling, there was an old cabinet covered over and this was laying on the shelf. The picture was taken in the room we found the photo in. Really cool. There was another photo under the top one and the back of the first photo had stuck to it, looks like it can be fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. Not me. It is in the original metal frame and has a working metal stand. I've kept it on a shelve but thought a collector would really like it. It is about 2" x 4"

We were pretty excited when we found it but no longer live in that house, it was almost 20 years ago.

this was a cool find. my wife and i get these pics and figure out who it is, what date it was taken (roughly) then find a relative and send the pic "back" to the family.. no questions asked.. yes out of the kindness of our heart, lol. sry ppl keep asking that.
