Description

The listing, SPONGEBOB COSTUME has ended.

a wonderful halloween costume. size small, used once. it has been hand washed, although the tag says it can be washed on gentle. has been in the halloween closet for a couple years. the childs head goes through the opening above mr. squarepants eyes. this means no mask on their face, making it a safe costume, no additional foot ware to trip on and bright yellow! from bottom of costume to head opening is aprox 14 inches, and from arm hole to arm hole also aprox 14" i guess his top is as square as his bottom :) if my child was still small, i would make this costume into a lego spongebob, but i digress...
no stains and no cracked paint. we do have dogs so if an allergy is a concern, this is not for you. please note the spongy costume material has crease marks in it. it came out of the package that way and will be mailed folded on those same lines.
i only mail to listia certified address, please send address within 10 days of winning auction....i always try to ship the day after an auction ends, BUT...sometimes i cant!
feel free to ask questions, i check my auctions 2x daily so i will answer as soon as possible. (the bowl of sand and shells in the first pic is NOT part of the auction)

what size would it fix a boy

im not sure of the exact size. my son was four when we bought this costume and it was a bit long on him, to his knee. the best thing i could think of is to measure the child, starting at the base of the neck, going down. you would want the 14 inch mark somewhere between the waist and knee. hope that helps!

I have a tall five year old, what do you think about fitting him?

first, see the other answer i just put up, with that said, my son has always been the tallest in his age group, and at four this costume was a bit long on him. so a tall five year old should fit the costume fine. but please measure the child first, unfortunatly, to me, seems the best way to make sure of the length before bidding (also why i put so much time on this auction) i would think somewhere between the waist and an inch above the knee would be the right fit, anything below the knees would hinder walking abitlity. hope that answers your question.
