Enjoy the beautiful large, open blooms of Cosmos from mid summer through the end of the season. Colors range from white to dark orange with many shades in between. Plants will grow up to four feet tall and have lacy fern-like foliage. Best when used for border planing or as a garden backgrowund along a wall or fence.

When and where: Select a mostly sunny location. In the spring, plant seeds about 1/4" deep directly into prepared soil about two weeks before you expect the last frost in your area. Keep soil moist by watering until seedlings are about 2" tall. Then water as necessary, especially during extended dry periods.

CARE: Growth is maximized in good soil with moderate moisture, Remove fading flowers and seed pods to promote further bloom.
