I made these 2 summers ago and like everything in my collection, i made them with a purpose that never came to pass then simply forgot about them. These are too cute and they badly need someone who likes to show off their pretty feet!
Made of 100% pure hemp, no blends or substitutes! The black circles are natural shell that I purchased already painted black and are knotted in place by small metal jump rings.
The main body is basically a long square knot sinnet. (sinnet meaning long row of knots) so it lays flat against the skin.
7in. from the knot above the toe to the end of the sinnet, there is an additional 4in. of braid for size allowance on larger feet. The row of shell pieces is 5in. long and toe loop is 3in. around and roughly 1in. Diameter.
Perfectly fits a size 7 but can easily accommodate a size 8 and 9 at the most.
