This is a 4 month old Penatch Duo Phone locked to AT&T wireless service. Can b e onlocked for any other GSM phone included Tmoblile , Verizon , and AT&T .
It was only used by my hubby for 4 months till he got a blackberry 9700 bold cellphone.
Comes w/ a cd start up guide, a start up guide booklet and a leather case.

It is a fantastic phone Koko! My husband , my son (he's 22) and I all take exceptional care of our phones and we tend to upgrade every chance we get. Hubby upgraded w/in 4 months of getting this phone to a blackberry bold 9700 and then we changed about 6 months later to Metro PCS once I lost my job so all of our phones are in prestine condition w/ very little wear! NONE of our phones have been used by teenagers or pre teens that tend to be a tad rougher on their phones. All have been kept in cases for the most part so very little scratching occurs and hubby hated taking on the phone so it hardly got used unless i called or a few of his buddies called here and there. Mainly for me to keep in touch w/ him while I was at work..Hope you'll bid..good luck and as always Happy Bidding!

if it's locked in at&t that means it's still under contract right?? and since verizon doesn't use a sim card, how would it work with verizon?? i thought all phones had to be used for that company and no others??

It is Locked NOT due to a contract! Contract has been paid off no money is due and person can use this phone! The Manufacturers of ALL cellular phones are "LOCKING" the phone to the carriers so they can ONLY be used for the carrier designated. However there ARE websites that will UNLOCK the phone for a small fee so that it can be used on ANY GSM carrier nationwide. As long as Verizon is GSM you will have no problems! Thought Verizon did use a sim card? anyone clarify that for me? That's AT&T's biggest competitor and I've had many friends unlock AT&T phones (such as the iphone) to go w/ their Verizon service. Any help people?

verizon might have used sim cards in the past, but now they dont they just activate the phone, which is why i wanted to make sure i could do that with this phone, i'll call them and find out, thanks :)

If they just activate the phone it may already have a new sim card installed inside the phone ! Just ask if the phone you have has a sim card ! Good luck and hope it all works out for you! Most phones come activated and already have newer sim cards for your# inside the phone but i will NOT guarantee this so best to call your carrier! :)

Don't know they (the management of listia) say that it had nothing to do w/ any fraud that even bay doesn't allow visa cards. I just have my doubts in my opinion but i'm not going to get into it here. But we still can get Store cards like Walmart, Target. Starbucks, VS etc. and Amazon codes will still be allowed!

PS- I've suggested if you're not happy about the visa card situation please go to contact/help/ and then go to suggestion/ then click on suggestion and drop down would be other. then put inthe title Visa Card?????????? and tell them how you feel.
For me it helps me feed my family while i have zero income, living off my 401k , while fighting for my social security disability and hubby is too ill to work. only person in family able to work and who is working is my wonderful 22 yr old son! and it's not the best job. He works for Racetrac and is trying to become a trainer for managers which he is very good at. Even as an associate he's trained some of the managers but not getting the pay for it. Told him to stop training them till they agree to pay you for it. It's not in his job description and they keep asking him to do it. So finally they're starting to work it in whereby he can become a training store manager! :) Wish him luck b/c we can certainly use the help around here.
Many blessings for all the friends w/ prayers and for those who have sent Listia notices of displeasure regarding the Visa Card ban. I've suggested that perhaps they put a cap of $25-$50 on each auction and to also have ALL NEW MEMBERS and MEMBER WHO ARE EXISTING B4 THEY CAN LIST AN AUCTION THEY MUST HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT VERIFIED IN ONE OF THE 2 WAYS ACCEPTABLE! This to would help control some of the nonsense.

J/K thanks again and for those of you bidding this is a wonderful phone only used 4 months (at most) b4 hubby went to his blackberry 9700 bold w/ AT&T. We're no longer w/ att so getting rid of all of our phones. Decided to put this one on here w/ tons of bonuses if the points go high enough!
