Offered is a1940's large letter post card from St. Joseph, Missouri, where the Oregon Trail, Overland Trail and Pony Express routes started. The card was mailed May 1, 1944 with a Four Freedoms one cent stamp. A great item for the St. Joseph resident, Missouri or western historian, large letter post card collector or others. The large letter art style popular in the 1930's and 1940's has had a revival as designs for building art murals (see two examples in extra pictures above.
