This recipe is something a family member makes which I've never seen made by anyone else. It is a very simple recipe but it is surprisingly delicious and I have not found one person that dislikes it. It is not in any way fat free so be prepared to indulge but it may be a nice addition to your secret family recipes too! I've been making this for over 5 years and it is still one of my favorite recipes. I can email it to the winner!

I lived south of New Orleans for a time. Dirty rice is a standard dish there and tastee too!!!
