The paragraph on rhe back of the post card above message area notes: "With the completion of Highway 66 the Old Town has taken on new vigor and growth." The population of the town never grew over 2900 people in 2010 and today is around 2,700 never reaching the great growth predicted on the post card due to Route 66! A great card for area residents, NM historians and teachers, large post card collectors of a unique small location and others.
