Honestly if u get the digitizer fixed the power buttons not a big deal u can press the other button that turns it on also turning it off would be the only issue but the screen will go into sleep mode after 10-15 seconds so the screen goes dark doesnt waste much battery

I didnt wanna include it because i didnt want someone to leave negative feedback saying the sync cord doent work right and all that mess but listia has some new ones on here any iphone charger will work for this except for the new iphone 5 is different

Yea if i have a sync cable though its my old one and it sometimes disconnects in certain positions but it will work if u position it right

Yea digitizer is priority if u can get someone to fix the power button for cheap whyll there fixing the digitizer than go for it but it will work without it

i checked craigslist for iphone repair southern illinois theres a few places that do repairs i dont know how much but they do fix them check and see if theres one thats close to you id just prefer to get rid of as is without having to do anything else i really dont have the time

Honestly id prefer not to but possibly try this 1st check craigslist for ipod and iphone repair. Call or text and see what theyll charge u to fix. Its a first generation ipod touch 16gigabytes needs a new digitizer and power button ask then how much theyll charge u and go from there thats all thats wrong with it they would probably have the parts on hand
