I'm not sure what I can offer for more info. The crack starts at the base of Washington's obverse profile and runs to the bottom rim. Die cracks occur when a die becomes fatigued from overuse. The die develops a crack which then transfers to the coin by way of raised metal that is trying to fill the planchet as it normally does. That raised metal is called a die crack, which is an error. Wish I had photo capability to show this but I do not. It is guaranteed though, to be exactly as described.
