The listing, Jewel Weed Native Americans use this has ended.
I use this plant to make soap with every year. Native Americans use this plant to ease the effects of poison ivy, sumac, poison oak, stinging nettle, rashes, etc. Any time I come into contact with plant poisons, I wash the affected area with this plant if it is available. I also carry soap made with this plant to use when I hike, garden, fish, hunt, etc. The seeds are difficult to collect as they "pop" whenever they feel movement and disperse over several feet. Hummingbirds love this plant and keep most seed scattered before I can collect them. My foraging friend Bearcat and I also gather this plant and sell to soapmakers. You can make good money with a patch of it, or make your own soap. It is most definately one of my favorite plants. This auction is for twenty difficultly gathered seed.
