Popcorn Balls

1 batch cooked popcorn
1 stick margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup dark Karo corn syrup

Cook a batch of popcorn. Place in a large bowl or stock pot. Set aside to cool.
Combine the margarine, brown sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan. Stir well until it begins to boil and continue to let it boil for 5 minutes. Let it cool down for a few minutes. Pour syrup mixture over the popcorn and stir well. Butter your hands well and form balls with your hands. Do not squeeze too tight. Popcorn balls should be light and puffy. Lay on wax paper to dry just a little or keep in Ziploc baggies for freshness if they are not going to be eaten right away.
