Description

The listing, Postcard 1975 Shortwave Radio QSL Card Saudi Royal Family Prince has ended.

QSL / QSO cards confirm either a two-way radio communication between two amateur radio stations or a one-way reception of a signal from an AM radio, FM radio, television or shortwave broadcasting station. They can also confirm the reception of a two-way radio communication by a third party listener. A typical QSL card is the same size and made from the same material as a typical postcard, and most are sent through the mail as such.

Up for bid is a neat 1975 QSL card in excellent used condition. Card is from H.R.H. Prince Talal Bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud – HZ1TA (his call letters). In the second scan, the printing is shiny gold, but it shows up black. Wonderful addition to any collection!

For Wikipedia info on this person, check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talal_bin_Abdul-Aziz_Al_Saud

I just thought this an interesting card (considering all the unrest in the Mideast) for those who collect QSL cards.
