FREE: Vintage US 2c Stamp from 1890 with Printing Fault

Here's another old US stamp-- it's a 2c carmine with George Washington, I believe Scott number 220 from 1890. It is in used condition with what seems like a pretty light postmark for such an old stamp. The lack of perforations at left and top are normal on stamps this old--that's the natural edge of the sheet-- so this stamp came from the top left corner. If you click on the "larger photo" you'll also see a small red line in the left margin-- a printing flaw of some kind!

Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away over the past couple of years, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad collected stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.

I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.
