Description
The listing, Unused 1940's Chicago's Hotel Sherman Post Card has ended.
The Sherman House was a hotel in Chicago that operated from 1837 until 1973, with four iterations standing at the same site at the northwest corner of Randolph Street and Clark Street. One of the city's major hotels, the hotel’s fortunes declined in the 1950s and it closed in 1973 and demolished in 1980 to become the James R. Thompson Center. A great card from historical Chicago.
