The listing, Tree Mallow Seeds - 25+ Attract Hummingbirds! has ended.
You are bidding on 25 seeds, I can't guarantee color since the original plant was a tricolor. First picture of hedge in bloom, second picture of flower. Third picture hedge not in bloom and last bag of seeds. The hedge this plant makes is just a pretty out of bloom as in bloom!.
The tree mallow is also known as rose mallows or royal mallows. Laverta is official name for these plants. These are NOT the same as Rose of Sharon, the blooms are larger and the petals spread out more. These are shrubs and perennials that are natives of southern Europe, California, the Himalayas and other places. Grows 6-8 feet tall and is often used as a windbreak. Grows in sunny spot, in regular well drained garden soil. My ground tends to have lots of clay in it and they have grown into a wonderful windbreak. Pruning isn't necessary unless damaged by frost. Bloom Color: Pink, Magenta (Pink-Purple), White/Near White. The orginal plant was tricolor, all colors on one plant. As it spread and grew, it has become white bushes, pink bushes and purple bushes with mixtures still appearing on some bushes. Bloom Time: Mid Summer to Late Summer/Early Fall. It depends on where planted, the ones I have in open area are starting to seed. Ones which are more under pine trees or in protected areas are still blooming. Foliage: Evergreen Has grown into a dense windbreak and fence between houses. Other details: Drought-tolerant, attracts hummingbirds and bees. Deer resitant in my experience. The deer eat anything they can except this plant, even plants that are supposed to be deer resistant!
