Dear Bidder, I am new to Listia and am not sure what that is or how it works. Does it equal "get ir now?" I think I have to keep the auction going, however I have enough feathers to duplicate what is offered here and I would accept the GIN if you can walk me through the process. What would you be using the feathers for? Jaqui
I am trying my hand at making some earrings with these. If you are new, you may not be able to offer a GIN yet. If you can, you list the auction and in the list screen, you hit the advanced options and there will be a button you can hit to list it for the 2000. Listia will charge you 10% of the credits, just an FYI! Let me know if you can and I will do it! Thanks!
Haven't had time to check out the GIN yet. However, There are several of the feathers offered in this lot that would not be conducive to earrings - it is important that you have fairly matching feathers and ones that are not too big. If we do a Gin then I could put together a specific assortment that would all be usable for earrings or jewelry (great for broaches on hats or blazer lapels or on the front of very plain dresses, turtlenecks etc. Interesting info: Every bird could be divided down the middle and you will find a pair of identical feathers on each side - not easy or important, but for earrings you want to try and get close with opposite directions. Hope I'm not blathering on about things you already know - it's the teacher in me, sorry. jj
Dear Bidder, Wondered if you got my reply re: earring feather collection vs. the one here. Would you be interested in one that had only feathers suitable for earrings? There would be some here you might not be able to use ie. the turkey feathers are not matched and the extra peacock are not either. Are you interested in some patterns for earrings or any other of that type info. Jaqui
