The S mint mark is filled in. Some of them were minted that way

There were two types of S Mint marks in 1979. This one, Type 1, is commonly called "the Blob." Toward the end of the year they changed to the Type 2, "Clear S". Neither are errors. They did the same thing in 1981. In my 50 years of collecting, these two coins are the most often mis-Identified.
Although it is not an error coin, it is a very nice Susan B Anthony, and highly collectable!
