No it doesn't have bassboost,but it does have a power switch with a green L.E.D. light to let you know when it is on.

is it clean and loud? does it really have an amplifier, cause i've got about 3 other mp3 speakers, but they are kinda weak when i'm playing them outside

There has to be somthing amplifying the sound,or there would be no need for batteries.Are you referring to having a clean sound or clean as in the opposite of dirty?

Don't get me wrong this isn't a bose speaker but this isn't your ordinary mp3 speaker.This thing is loud.
