Questions & Comments
Great auction :) If no one GINs (they prob will) BUT if they dont, will you relist the VS $10 card?
I actually would not be able to since you have to spend $10 to get ten off. According to Listia's rules coupon can only be for free items. I got this as a birthday gift from them and thought I would just throw it in as a extra too sweeten the deal with it.. With GIN I am also going to thrown in x2 20% off at Bath and Body coupons too. I do put up any free coupons I do get from Victorias Secret from time to time. So keep a eye out! =)
True I totally understand but the thing is with that VS "coupon" you don't need to make a purchase at all. You can get anything in store that is up to $10 for free.. Just don't get anything that costs more than that. I've used a few a them and each time got one of the mini body mists that are $10 and just got it free :)
Here is what it says: Coupons Anything that offers a discount such as "$x off y", "% off", "buy x get y free" or requiring a minimum purchase, including coupons with too many restrictions Exceptions: coupons that give you something for free with no minimum purchase, shipping charges of any kind, and no strict rules on redemption.
The Victorias Secret minimum purchase is $10 get ten off! It is not allowed for that reason. I know it ends up with getting the product for free but the actual coupon doesn't say free. I was hoping by throwing it in as a extra GIN bonus I would make someone happy without breaking rules! =)
Thought I've seen those $10 off a $10 purchase on here somewhere, maybe Listia Customer Service has the answer! It's nice you made it available as a bonus either way :)
To get two coupons and the extra $10 off to victorias secret. Other wise the winner is only going to get the one coupon worth $5. I have Ginned a lot of stuff lately , people like having the option to get it now with bonuses! =)
I wish I could just auction that off but due to the rules (only coupons with free items) I can't. Only way to get that is to use the GIN. Thanks for stopping by! =)
Yeah, I doubt they will take it down, because you're assuming as the seller that $10 off a $10 purchase makes an item free, BUT most places expect you to pay sales tax, so technically most "free" coupons are not free, because of tax. (I've redeemed "free" vouchers from CVS, and had to pay a $0.19 tax on the item, even though I got the item "free"). So even if the person uses the $10 on an item that is $10, they'll probably have to pay tax, which is "technically" paying, but that goes for ALL items at MOST big stores. If the sales tax paying counted as part of it, then Listia couldn't let even "Free" items on here- because of tax!
