The listing, Vintage Traditional Joss Paper - Money for Ancestors has ended.
This is a lot of 10 sheets mixed gold and silver traditional vintage Joss Paper from China. Each sheet is about 5" square. These are lovely for all types of paper crafting, collage or mixed media projects. Made of bamboo paper or rice paper. These are old so there is some flaking of the gold and silver onto the sheet above.
These sheets are traditionally burned to provide currency for dead ancestors to use in the afterlife in China and other asian countries. Sometimes burned at funerals and sometimes burned as offerings for gods or deities in hopes of receiving favor or avoiding bad luck. Sometimes folded into the shape of gold ingots before offering them or burning them. There is much information about these traditions on the internet if you are curious.
