This is a real nice religous coin. It is very big 50mm the quarter along side is for comparison. The front depicks a gold Jesus and four symbels, the outer edge lists the names of the twelve apostiles. The back is a picture of the twelve apostiles.
The lip of the plastic case has a piece broken out, it does not distract from the viewing but does not create a tight fit so it can come apart easily if you grab it wrong.
The coin wieghs 2.2 ounces and I beleave it is silver over cooper with gold accent.
It would make a nice Christmas present for the right person and would display beautifully on a small stand or with a little glue and some string it could be a fancy ornament.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity and is numbered 05236 (out of 9999). It's a well made piece.
