The listing, Vintage Antique Style Opaque White Milk Glass bud flower vase has ended.
Not sure if this is actual milk glass or a replica. In fact, I know absolutely nothing about it.
It was purchased at an estate sale with some other old goodies about 3 years ago...perhaps you can tell me.
The top rim is scalloped. There are vertical fan-linke indentations that run up the base/belly of the vase and they kind of smooth out as you run along the neck up to the rim.
I know some milk glass is more transparent than others. This one seems pretty opaque compared to another piece I have. It's not completely opaque, it's just thicker.
The vase is about 9" tall and the diameter is about 2.5" across the widest part of the vase.
I have posted as many pictures as I can imagine for this auction. If you feel like you need more just let me know.
As for the bottom, there are no hallmarks that are visible to me, however there is the faint glimmer of some kind of unintelligable stamping as one would see on the bottom of an old commercial bottle.
I can't make out what the raised stampings say, and I've looked under an ottlite and with a jeweler's loupe (though these stamps are not small) at this vase, and to me, it remains unlabeled.
I can not photograph any detail of the bottom into my pictures. I've tried.
As for shipping, I accept Paypal and Concealed Cash.
Please understand that I can not afford to send you this vase without your help so please do not ask for free shipping right now. Thank you, but let me know if you have any other questions.
Happy Bidding!
