The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health does not recommend the use of back belts to prevent injuries among workers who have never been injured.
Basically, there's not enough data to show they work, and using them may give a false sense of protection. Proper lifting techniques are the best solution.
I've had several back surgeries, the first due directly to bad technique. Do it right and you won't live a life in pain.
Yeah, they may be good to remind you to stand up straight AFTER you've pulled a muscle or something, but they're pretty worthless to help you actually lift something.
I don't mean to rain on your listing; I just want people to know they don't really work, so that someone won't get hurt in the future. Better to lose a few credits than someone end up permanently disabled!
