Description
The listing, Knitting device has ended.
Knitting "hoop"- not sure of the correct term for this item, and I never learned to use it (I crochet). Found at a consignment shop awhile ago and it's sat in my bedroom for a long time, I've finally gave up on learning to use it with four kids running around. Hoping to find a good home for it. As always, free shipping to US and Canada.
Questions & Comments
This is a knitting rake. Looks like a Knifty Knitter long loom.
Thank you so much! Like I said, I am not a knitter, I just crochet, I had hoped to get into knitting and never did. Your comment is so helpful- thanks again so much!
It's a knifty knitter Long Loom. Or sock loom possibly, at least that's what my wife is saying, she's the crafter, I'm here exploring for Christmas items for her.
Yuppers, it's for making sweaters & other flat knit items. I've been crocheting now for 45yrs strong & I've finally taught myself to knit & have 12yrs of knowledge there but these looms are another thing I want to master.
After I list things on ebay and listia I put them back out in boxes in the bed, so it will take me a bit to get back to it and check. I promise to get back to you though.
Very nice listing! I've been looking for one of these looms, my arthritis makes knitting more painful than it should be! Is there anything wrong with it? Missing pegs, gouges in the edges, etc?
No, nothing wrong with it. I got it a long time ago, never learned to knit, my arthritis also very bad and with the kids running around, no time to knit (no time to pee by myself, never mind knit!). Good to know this is easy to use with arthritis, I might give it a go sometime again in the future, I'll keep one of these in mind.
