I have 2 red seal 2 dollar bills 1963 series, both serial numbers start and end with A witch means they were a couple of the first ones issued

Well on Federal Reserve Notes (FRN's), the ones with Green Seals that we use today, that is correct. The letter after the serial number is the block letter. They print them in alphabetical order... So an FRN with an A after the serial number would be among the first printed... But with Silver Certificates (Blue, Yellow and Brown Seals) and United States Notes (Red Seals) that is not the case...
