I'm just starting to make bracelets with EURO/Pandora beads. Do you know if 6mm is large enough to fit? It's so frustrating! When I buy beads the pkg. doesn't list how big the center hole is so I have to guess. Just thought you might know. Thanks in advance for your reply!

No, that is the kind of jewelry I make and you need beads that have center holes of 4-6mm.

The bracelets I have been using with the euro beads is a type of rope chain bracelet. It's bigger around than the small clip type holders with the little ball that screws off to add the beads. Do you have any idea at all what the biggest size crystal beads & charms it would take to get them on the rope chain? I just started this hobby and really enjoy how easy it is. And pretty with the colors, styles, etc. I'm sorry to keep asking you for help. I just don't know anyone else right now to ask. Thanks much!

You would need to ask the seller to measure the INSIDE hole. It would need to be 5-6mm, not the bead. When they way the size of the bead, that is the outside measurement, even outsides of euro beads can vary, but the one thing that is consistent with the euros is the inside diameter. For the chains, it must be 4.5-5mm and for the ropes it can vary depending on size of rope. I found out the hard way about bead measurements, I wasn't smart enough to ask about inside diameters!

Thanks for answering so quickly! I know now what I need to do! I get some of my beads, charms,from Michael's. Problem is the pkg. of beads don't tell what mm the bead is. And I can't afford to go the bead shops around here. It just costs too much.. I think I'm going to start looking at the internet and see what I can find with free shipping. Someone else in this site told me that's where she gets hers. Many, many thanks for your time and information. Am fanning you now!

I get all my beads from several different shops on e-bay at very reasonable prices. I have 14 Large bead boxes full of euro beads since I go to festival and put up booths, sell on yardsellr, and have a website.
