The listing, Cameo and Chain Necklace has ended.

This is a lovely cameo. So many of them in my opinion are almost ugly. This one is sweet and feminine and on the large side. The chain is nice and long also. As you can see from the shot of the back, it's even nice and open backed. This is all very new to me ( my 3rd auction) so I'm sure that I'll make some mistakes. I appreciate any and all sincere help.I am a hopeless border and collector.

Is this old or new and made to look old? Is this brass, or sterling with gold over or what? Or do you know? Is this carved or a molded piece?
