It says "Kuroda-bushi", which means "Song of Kuroda", a traditional Japanese folk song from Kyushu. It is a pun on that of a samurai(hence the warrior-looking bookmark). The character of "bushi" on this bookmark reads "song"; however, when said out loud, the sound of "bushi" can also mean "samurai". Thank you for asking, and I hope this makes sense!
