If you aren’t already growing this enticing crop in your garden, you really should be! Bunching onions are easy to grow, strong and winter-hardy.
Sow seeds in early spring for summer harvests, or in late summer to mature in the fall or spring. They grow quickly and you can harvest the green leaves or the whole stem. If you cut the stem, they will regrow.
Wonderful addition to stirfrys, salads, soups etc.
You will get 100 freshly harvested seeds from June 22.
I always start the seeds in a little pot. When they are about at least 4 inches tall and look like a grass, I transplant them.
I have been an organic gardener for the last 10 years and grow most of my plants from my own seeds. Since my garden produces an abundance I am happy to share my seeds with you.
