Description

The listing, Vintage Kem "Mallard" Pinochle/Playing Cards has ended.

Beautiful Estate Find: You are bidding on a beautiful set of vintage pre 1970 Mallard double deck of playing cards! The original Mallard in the first picture is a stock photo taken off of the Kem Website. They are currently listed for $39.50. The second and third photos I took! They are the vintage set for playing cards/pinochle. Both decks are vintage pre 1970 and still in Kem Hard Plastic Logo Box and both sets are still wrapped in plastic. The vintage sets online on average are getting $50 - $70 for the set. This set is great for the card player, card collector and or duck collector. They are beautiful again neither of the (2) sets have been opened. I am setting a GIN on this and the collector I am sure will think it is very fair! Feel Free to look them up on line the vintage one's and the new one's! If you have any questions please feel free too ask! These cards are water resistant, crimp free etc. You can look up KEM cards on the net! The cards are unopened! I have added more pictures of the case! The cards are made of hard thermo plastic as stated on back of box!

It is I was trying to do more research on these last night! The KEM company closed in 2003. I know these two decks were made pre-1970's! However, I believe the were actually made in March of 1956 with the Hummingbirds!

The back of the KEM box say the cards are made of hard thermo-plastic materials. Also inside is the original info that comes with the cards that explains all about them! How long they last etc. I also snapped a shot of it above! The cards I will not open I will leave that up to the bidder/winner! Thanks for all questions and comments!

Yeah, I took a second look at them and read the box. Interestingly enough they are plastic! What is also neat is it has the original paper insert inside that talks about how long the cards last etc. The paper is aged yellow! The cards still wrapped and beautiful! They were an estate find in a box of items I purchased! I was actually shocked to look up the cards today just to see how much they are?

Thank you. I know they are pre-1970's! I believe they were made in 1956 however, unsure of the exact date this exact style came out! I believe they came out the same time as the Hummingbirds which were 1956 however, could not get exact date. I do know vintage and pre-1970 set! Thanks! The company closed in 2003. I think they are still are selling some sets. The Mallard set that is NOT VINTAGE is selling currently for 39.50. Others I am searching which are by this company and vintage are a lot more! Enjoy, & thanks for looking at my auctions!
