these are do-it-yourself storage container lids
here's how they work
take a 2-litre soda pop bottle---drink all the soda---wash it --cut off the top and snap on the RECAPPER
the cool thing is that you can custom size the container by cutting the bottle to any height you need
and they snap off if you need to make a different size later
once you snap on the lid then(as shown in the photos) the lid opens easily
i use lots of these in my sewing room for buttons-needles and pins--small notions that are never in the same place but now they are
and they look nice on my shelf all in a row
handymen could use them for nails-screws-bits-nuts and bolts and probably more stuff i dont know about :-)
i even have a friend who uses it for some of his fishing stuff
