Do you want some info about the rusty patched bumble bee? It is the first federally protected bee in the United States! It's numbers have been endangered scince 2016-17 and there are many seeds and plants we can grow to support it's growth and survival. One thing is for sure is that having flowers or even flowering vegetables available early in the spring (March) AND late in the fall (October) help it's survival greatly because it relies on food heavily at these critical parts of immergense, reproduction, and preparing for overwintering the queens.
