It says plant in early spring or plant in early autumn for spring blooms
I suppose for states that are warm all year round, shouldnt be a problem to plant them now..in autumn :)

and maybe as long as it is "spring" type weather? nice and warm but not too hot ..
or..autumn type weather.not too cold..like winter weather..but sunny and maybe 50 and above
to be safe you may want to wait until spring? or
i have heard some people plant and grow them inside their homes...

i have looked this up and
some sites advise to plant in autumn for a spring bloom...others say you can also plant in early spring..i am not sure of states which have warm weather all year around
ii would think you can plant them this time of year as long as it's not too hot...but maybe above 50 degrees? hope this helps.i do not know much about planting flowers..yo may want to look online for planting poppies..?
i'm sorry i cannot be of more help
i would say for colder states...it may be a bit too cold to plant them right now..and you may have to wait until spring..
