The Pitfall Atari 2600 is an action video game. In this single player single-player Adventure Video Game, the player plays the role of Pitfall Harry in search of a fortune. Harry is to enter a wild maze full of scorpions, crocodiles, serpents, bottomless pits, wetlands, and blazing flames that can cost him his life to get to this treasure. This Atari 2600 Game, has a total of 32 fortune bags including money bags, silver blocks, gold biscuits, and jewel rings, 8 of each are acquirable. This Adventure Video Game lasts for 20 minutes having you on the edge of your seat as all the treasures are to be acquired within the given time. This Atari 2600 Game offers Harry three survival chances. In case it's a timeout or you run out of life term or make less than 114000 points, the Pitfall is over. Other than life threatening obstacles, if Harry dodges Rolling logs and crashes into a hole, he will loose his scores.
