Brubenne, if you'll go look at Dymo.com, you will see the machine which uses this roll. I love being able to print my stamps from home and never go to the Post Office. It comes with the software you'd need when you purchase the Dymo machine. This lady is just offering us the labels which we could also purchase from Dymo.com when we need them. I purchased the Dual unit so I print address labels also and my Christmas cards look really nice. The labels here in her picture are for the Postal Stamp only instead of going to the Post office that you can print off using this Dymo machine.

there is no monthly charge after you purchase the machine. That's what I love about this. The software they furnish is free and they keep it updated per the Postal Service. Now, if you want to get real fancy and have Registered Mail, Certified, that sort of mail leaving your house, then there is a software version you have to use and it does have a monthly fee attached to it. But the version I use for plain ole stamps is free.
