These are mouth watering. They are to picked around 2 1/2 inch big but i let them get bigger and I stuff them with my meatloaf mix and bake them or I cut into 1 inch scares add butter or oil garlic, salt ,and, pepper and ,thyme bake for 20 min - add Parmesan cheese bake 5 min longer , there great.They are also great for stir fry dishes when they are smaller.

. . . How does the vine grow?
. . . Is it the same as regular zucchini with the very large leaves right after each other along the stem & difficult to train up a trellis?
. . . Or does it have more of a vine like habit similar to most other squash?

It's like a reg squash but the plants don't quite get as big as zucchini plant does ,so this would be great for someone with limited room too . I hope this helps you,and thanks for asking. Good luck.
