1944-S AU+ war-time nickel minted in San Francisco. Can see all three sets of stairs.Beautiful original shine. Shiny luster.
High grade Collectable - almost uncirculated.
~To save nickel the US mint added silver to nickels during the war. ~ End half of 1942, all of 1943,1944, and 1945. ~ Some 1942 not war nickel. ~All WAR nickels have large mint mark at top on the back like in picture above.
