The listing, BLUE MONKEY FLOWER-Mimulus ringens-moist shade seeds has ended.
Blue Monkey Flower
Blue Monkey Flower is an American native found in streambanks and wet meadows. Hardy from zones 3-9, it's pretty enough for any garden and perfect for moist shady spots where garden flowers get floppy. It thrives in partial shade, moist rich soil, is happy on land or in water.
Violet-blue flowers an inch across cover the plant from June through September. They look like smiling faces. Plants grow about 2' tall, form pretty clusters, reseed themselves generously. This is an easy plant for the right spot and is spectacular all summer. Hummers love it.
Seeds are microscopic and germinate quickly. Mix them with sand to direct sow and thin the seedlings. You'll have more than enough!
