I can't find any markings on the necklace. It is hard to measure as the chain is infused into the charm. When un clasped it measures just over 9.5". I will try to upload more pics.

It is metal. I would assume it's costume jewelry. My great grandfather was a jeweler. I acquired these about 15 years ago when my grandmother passed.

Hi Erin have you tried too see if a magnet will pick it up or stick to it. That will give you some kind of idea if it's real gold or not.
