Hi This is a collector item piece. May I ask what it states on the tag attached to the back of the item. Or perhaps you can Photo it and post it as well..

Precious moments are a collectors item but this bear was made in 2009 by precious moments inc..

Hi The year doesn't matter on most collectible items what really matters is where it was made and if it's a numbered item is most cases. If a item doesn't carry that info then the year and condition come into play. numbered pieces usually indicate it's a limited item. if it has letters in the number that stated it's open for reproduction at a later time.... Disney is great for that....
