I don't blame you and I definitely agree with you. that happened to me when I was selling a $60 sega saturn game. and some buyer was trying to lowball me.
and to make matters worse, I sold a laptop just now for 55,000 points and yeah I was very upset. I paid $110 for that laptop. and I did not make my profit back. I understand how you feel sir.

It seems they either lack the points to bid or choose not to. Listia has been evolving for years, shifting policies from credits to XNK and now points. The new option to sell for cash requires credit card information for deposits, which I'm not keen on. Moreover, cash sellers seem to be asking for excessive amounts, forgetting this is Listia, not Macy's. Cash transactions are rare on this platform, leading me to ponder Listia's future plans. A platform overhaul would be beneficial, particularly a more efficient feedback system rather than the current time-consuming individual process. The digital collectibles feature also needs attention; it was profitable until last October, but now, despite repeated contact, Listia seems to be ignoring my concerns. It appears I'm not the only one being overlooked, as Listia isn't responding to any messages. I'm sorry to hear about your laptop incident. Maybe Listia should consider implementing a reserve price feature, akin to eBay's, instead of the GIN.

I feel you on that one. But, to be honest with you, from my experience. if someone put a item up very high, chances are no one won't bid on it or GIN. I saw a lady on Listia that was selling a Game Boy micro. it took her three years to finally sold. if you sell something very high and it doesn't sell and it might take you years, what is your thoughts on that? are you going to be discouraged or you don't give up? in my opinion I think the main reason that people are not buying very high stuff is because.. people are cheap, inflation, or people are struggling. by the way you may also to be very careful about scalpers and resellers on here. last month I sold a tablet for 19,000 points and then that same buyer that brought my tablet re-sold it for 35,000. I was super upset. I paid $40 for that tablet. Sadly, people don't understand.
