This is Holy Basil , you get a rooted clipping .It grows like a weed. It has beautiful purple flowers. Everyone should grow this .It attracts bees.It's delicious too.My 80 year old neighbor gave me a clipping 5 years ago .I keep cutting it and want to spread it all over.If you want bees this will bring them .This is the easiest thing to grow.You put it in the ground and it grows.Its drought hardy .I live in Florida ,it's amazing how well it does in the heat .This is in direct sun all summer.This is an herb used in many dishes.I use fresh basil in spaghetti sauce.
