Are you referring to reloading your points?? It's always been higher to purchase points than what the actual rate is, but they won't technically define it :( I've even sent in tickets asking and never get an answer UGH!

Indeed, receiving no responses can be frustrating. I've sent questions since last year and have yet to receive a reply. After extensive searching on the BBB website, I found numerous complaints about Listia. It seems that while Listia was excellent initially, it has since declined in quality.

We were discussing points rate on a FB page and this is what someone said about it:

Less and less members are currently active on the site, the more purchase points are paid, the company makes more money . That was from a report at Cspan on the Listia market.

Unfortunately, I don't have Facebook, so I'm not privy to the discussions there. However, the points you've raised about Listia's comments do bring up questions regarding the dwindling membership. I've never bought any points during my years as a member; I prefer to earn them independently. But the real issue is what customers are willing to pay. With the point rate increasing, it's becoming harder to turn a profit. Nobody seems willing to spend their points on this site, and they're reluctant to pay for shipping—it's quite unreasonable. I believe everyone here has PayPal, so there's no excuse for not covering shipping costs, especially when I'm offering my items for next to nothing. It's puzzling how the sale of points generates revenue for them. After all, buying points doesn't allow you to purchase Amazon gift cards or redeem them in certain categories, which diminishes their value.
