Description

The listing, Batman DC Comics Trinity #18 Oct 1, 2008 has ended.

Hello everyone, not asking for cash, just points to accumulate to spend on this platform. Keep in mind that every 100 points are equivalent to 0.10 cents, every 1,000 points equal $1.00, and so on. The starting bid is intentionally low to encourage high and frequent bidding. The essence of an auction is to bid generously and outdo the competition. Be sure to check out my other listings for some great deals. As per usual, shipping is free within the USA. Best of luck and happy bidding. God Bless.

***The comic book will be secured with a backing board and dispatched in a robust, hard envelope.

It seems I'm the only one who understands. Most people prefer to wait until the last 10 seconds to place their highest bids, often losing out. This behavior is common across all auction types as they aim to conserve points. Initially, when cash was involved, I made a decent profit. However, no one is willing to pay the asking prices now, making cash transactions unfeasible. Moreover, there's a preference for credit card inclusion for cash transfers, which I've been advised against for safety reasons. With shipping costs skyrocketing, it's becoming unsustainable. Even when I've set starting bids at 5,000, there are no takers, leading to multiple relistings and eventually discarding unsold items. When customers inquire about these items, they become frustrated upon learning they've been discarded due to lack of bids, suggesting I should have set lower starting bids. Despite trying that, the proceeds don't cover the shipping expenses. Many believe in accumulating points over time to purchase valuable items. I've lost interest in buying from this site and am exiting the sports card business. An experienced individual informed me that sports cards aren't as valuable as they were in the '80s; they're now plentiful and rare cards are exceedingly difficult to find. So, that's my dilemma. lol
