Up for bid is a used, but in nice shape, ex-library softcover book. My girls would have devoured this book! Most reviews thought it was great, and I didn’t think it was scary, but am including a review from a concerned mom.

“The illustrations are nice, the wording is simple enough for kids to understand. But there are 12 pages about ghosts, poltergeists, haunted houses, etc. That could be confusing for kids... I wouldn't want my kids to think those were facts, that it's real.”

My girls would have loved this (includes ghosts around the world and does mention witchcraft, just stating facts), but if your kids are easily frightened, maybe this wouldn’t be a good choice.

It’s Scholastic, so it was intended for young readers. Large book with 189 pages of pictures and facts, and index.

It's a large book so because of free shipping, points reflect that. Even Media mail is out of sight ($5.35 to ship this book)! Smoke-free item.
