this is the limited edition vw microbus still in the box but 4th picture shows how the box got damaged some how, so the box is not in all that great a condition but the vehicle inside is still untouched. thanks for checking out my auction happy bidding

Can you tell me what it is that is wrapped around the middle of the bus? It looks like it might be stuck to the bus itself. F&B

it's a band that was put around it from the factory to hold the roof of the bus in place while it sits in the case. but it looks like it has detiorated and has loss all elasticity. the case has never been opened so it remains the way it is. the roof of the van lifts up on a hinge, i believe.
