Veteran Suicide Awareness Project (VSAP) is a non-profit organization established by Tech Sergeant Evita Yniguez of the U.S. Air Force. The organization was established in the year 2015, two years after the founder became a survivor of suicide. The VSAP is unique in a sense that we provide resources beneficial to the healing process. They honor those men and women who lost their lives through community organized ruck marches, fundraisers, counseling suggestions and much more. All their proceeds go to benefit the surviving families of suicide victims. Our mission goal is to bring suicide awareness in the armed forces to the community. Awareness is the greatest proponent to suicide prevention.
