The listing, TRAIN STEIN FROM GERMANY... has ended.

This came from my 86 year old Aunt....I have No Info. on this Stein, and i dont know how old this is...I'm not 100% sure but this probably came from Germany because my Aunt traveled there a few times..This Stein has no cracks....8 inches tall....Perfect for a Collection.....Listia address only...Happy Bidding....Please dont ask for a Gin because i would have No clue what to Gin for....

TheWalt is the name of a major Stein manufacturer in Germany. Alot of their steins are worth a good deal of money.

sorry and if you have any with holes around the rim and when you look inside you will see a naked lady or couple put a good starting bid on then some are not available and are worth a lot i have tons of steins but always want more f&w

if you take a picture of the bottom of the stein ther should be a # stamp and shoould say made in germany or west germany

theres no stamp but there is The Walt written inside the lid, which means its made from a Company in Germany..

yes it is made in germany..My Aunt made trips to Germany and she brought back many steins from there..I'm not 100% positive but this one might have been brought back with her from one of her trips

Had a 2007 Budwiser stein on here a few weeks ago starting bid was 2,000 and was listed for 7 days no gin becuase I was new. not a single bid. I was surprised to say the least.

lol "Traude" just becuase it has a lil sticker on the bottom saying made in germany Does Not mean it was made in Germany lol. Another way to be safe about making sure you are getting a stein that was really made in Germany is to make sure that the "Made in Germany" is etched or embossed into the clay. This has to be done before the stein is fired and it is illegal to import into Germany any product which already bears the words "Made in Germany".
In an article dated May 21, 1999 of the Westerwald Zeitung in Germany, the following was published (this has been translated from German to English).

thanks for the info...I see no marks on this stein..On the top inside the lid it says...The Walt..so thats all the info i have on this stein..I didnt realize that this coming from Germany would be that important..I dont know anything about steins so i'm only stating what the stein says...
